Until the fall of 2021, Cornhole was a game we played in our backyards and on the shores of our Candlewood Lake community. Two of our founders ventured out to a local tournament in Brookfield, CT which opened our eyes to the competitive cornhole scene. A few more events attended in the Fall before Winter struck and the brainstorming for Candlewood Cornhole was well underway…

Our Mission

Candlewood Cornhole is founded on the fact that we love this game….and community is everything.

We strive to find the perfect balance of competition and a family friendly environment at all of our events. Welcoming beginners with a comfortable environment to learn and grow. Humbling backyard all-stars with some real competition. Providing formats where the most advanced players can enjoy themselves. This is the community and atmosphere we strive for and we thank all of our early supporters in quickly making this a reality.

Off the courts, we are committed to changing lives by selecting a different not for profit entity in our area and donating a portion of proceeds from every single one of our events (league or tournament). We are proud to be from Danbury, CT. We are fortunate enough to be able to spend our free time playing this game we love. We have made a pledge to support those who cannot. A portion of every dollar Candlewood Cornhole receives will be paid forward to a good cause.
